APP is not able to connect?

1. iSteady Mobile+ support smartphone with ios 9.0 or above and Android 6.0 or above.
2. Please make sure the Bluetooth of smartphone is available and enabled.
3. After intalling the app”Hohem Gimbal”,please make sure all the permission are allowed before accessing the App at the first time.
4. Make sure to choose the correct product model “iSteady Mobile+” to connect the bluetooth. Bluetooth light ONLY on when gimbal and app connected successfully.

APP fail to record 4K video.

Please check the APP setting if the “Video face tracking” is enabled. It requires to disable the “video face tracking”(up to 2160P) to record 4K video.

Proper Using
Fail to turn on the gimbal?

1. Please check if the power button is defective
2. Please check if your gimbal is fully charged (tap the shutter button once to check the battery status)
3. Please be noted that the gimbal is not able to power on while it is charging.

The gimbal is not horizontally level after turning on?
  1. Please make sure your smartphone is balanced well before powering on the gimbal.
  2.  Please do the off-line calibration or 6-side calibration through the app.
  3. If upper solution are not helpful, please adjust the “TRIM” in the app when connecting with gimbal via bluetooth.
Fail to take photo or record video by gimbal?

Please make sure the bluetooth is connected successfully via bluetooth in the app. (The bluetooth light only on when bluetooth is connected successfully)

Firmware Upgrade
Fail to upgrade the firmware?
  1. iSteady Mobile+ is able to upgrade the firmware in App “Hohem Gimbal”.
  2. Please make sure the gimbal is connected with App via bluetooth successfully only when the bluetooth light always on.
The gimbal is not able to turn on after firmware upgarded?

It would caused that the firmware upgrade is not complete, please do it one more time to update the firmware as per instruction.

No progress during the firmware upgrade?

Please check if the bluetooth is disconnected, if so, please do it on more time to update the firmware.

Fail to charge the gimbal?

Please check if the charger(5V/1-2A) and charging cable is good quality.
